St Monica’s GAA Club Weekly notes:

What a busy few days lies ahead for our club on the playing fields as all our teams are action this week best of luck to all our players and their respective management teams. 

On Tuesday our AFL 4 team travel to Marino to take on St Vincent’s in the JFC while on Thursday our AFL 11 team go to Naul to play Clann Mhuire in the Junior D championship both games have a 7pm throw in time. 

On Wednesday evening our Ladies team welcome Round Towers Lusk to Edenmore throw in time on the back pitch is 7.30pm. 

On Saturday St Monica’s are delighted to host Group A of Feile Peil na nÓg our boys will be in action against Clontarf B (10.30), Liffey Gael (11.30) and Crumlin (12.30) please pop along and show the lads your support. 

Also on Saturday our U13 girls play Lucan Sarsfields at 4pm. 

On Sunday our U11 girls are at home to Scoil Ui Chonaill at 12.00 noon while later on Sunday our U16 girls travel to Bohernabreena to play St Anne’s in a crucial league game throw in time 4pm. 

Our last Thursday Lotto Draw took place last week the numbers drawn out were 3-23-24 and we had no winner. Our club Lottery as and from the 1st of May is moving to Sundays. 

The draw will now take place each Sunday evening at 7pm. Check out our new look Lotto tickets which are available to purchase from our clubhouse. €2 for one panel and €5 for three panels. 

All tickets purchased will be entered into a weekly lucky dip draw for a cash prize of €25. 

It is with great sadness that we learnt during the week of the passing of Mr Walter Morris (RIP) he was one of the founder members of our club (Edenmore Gaels) when it was formed back in 1964. Our deepest sympathies go to his wife, family and friends. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
