St Monica’s GAA Weekly Notes:

Huge congratulations to Megan Colman on winning a U16 Leinster championship medal with Dublin last weekend. Everyone in the club is extremely proud of your achievement and wish you all the very best of luck in the All Ireland semi-final on July 12th

Another proud moment for the club last weekend when Chloe Kelly lined out for the Dublin U14’s in the All Ireland Blitz in Rathleague.

There was no winner of our club lotto draw on Sunday last numbers drawn out were 7-10-14 while Lorraine O’Neill was the winner of our lucky dip draw of €25. Lotto tickets are on sale throughout the week from the clubhouse, €2 a panel or 3 for €5. Next Sunday’s Lotto Jackpot will be in excess of €550, please support.

Hard luck to our second adult men’s team who narrowly lost out to St Vincent’s in the championship on Sunday just two points separated the sides on the final whistle, FT 3-04 to 0-11.

This week’s fixtures: Adult Ladies team are home to Ballyboden St Endas on Wednesday night at 7.30pm, U14 girl’s play St Finians of Swords in their league title play off on Friday night at 7.30pm on Springdale Road while our U14 boys travel to Tymon Park to play St Jude’s on Saturday at 3.30pm

Reminder John Byrne plays the club this coming Friday night from 9.30pm to close. While our Members Drinks promotion continues this Friday from 4pm to close members are reminded to bring along their membership cards.

Adult Ladies and Juvenile girl’s memberships are now due can all players ensure they pay their annual membership to their respective team mentors as soon as possible please.

Wishing St Eithnes GNS all the very best of luck in the final on Thursday versus St Fintans of Sutton, throw in time is 10am in Parnell Park.
