St Monica’s Weekly notes:


Our first adult men’s team had a great Joy cup tussle with St Brigids on Sunday last with the home side grabbing a last minute goal to secure the win. Final score St Brigids 4-07 St Monica’s 5-03. This Sunday Feb 21st, St Monica’s take on St Vincent’s in the second round of the Joy Cup with a throw in time of 10.30am on the back pitch.


Our under 8 boys team training time has moved to Tuesday evening at 5.45pm in the Youth Centre hall for more info contact Chris Redmond 086-2285629


Gaelic4Girls training continues on Saturday at 12:00 again in the Youth Centre hall with the juvenile season due to get underway on the 27/28th of February it is important that all players attend this weekend’s session. G4G coaches are bringing the girls to Parnell Park on Sunday 28th for the Dublin v Cork NFL game if any parent is available to lend a hand with supervision can they let Patricia Monahan know.


There was no winner of our club lotto draw for Thursday February 11th numbers drawn out were 11-21-23 the Jackpot was valued at €1250. Reminder that lotto tickets for this week’s draw can be purchased each evening from 5pm from our club-house at the weekends from 12 noon. 


Our annual Mother’s Day Event will take place on Sunday March 6th; tickets are once again priced at €15 which includes dinner, dessert, tea & coffee along with DJ musical entertainment in the afternoon followed by live music with PULSE from 8pm to late. Annual membership subscriptions both full and social are now due for payment. Information on 2016 rates can be viewed on our club website members can also download forms from the site.

CLUB Members can now order club gear online, have their orders delivered either directly to their house (fee involved) or alternatively they can, for no charge, pick up their orders from Teamwear collection point in Baldoyle. Members wishing to purchase gear can view or try on a range of samples which are available in the clubhouse prior to buying on line.
