St Monica’s GAA Club Weekly Notes:

Last weekend all our club games were lost owing to the pitch closers as a result of the inclement weather. This coming weekend we have a packed schedule of club fixtures; Saturday U13 hurlers are away to Naomh Fionnbarra 15:00, Minor girls are home to Skerries Harps 15:00, U13 girls are home to Croi Ro Naofa 16:00. On Sunday our AFL 4 team are home to St Marks 10:30, while our U11 girls are away to Scoil Ui Chonaill at 12:00. In the afternoon our AFL 11 team are home to Scoil Ui Chonaill at 15:00 with our U16 girls are away to Garristown at 16:00. Everyone in St Monica’s would like to wish all our teams and their respective managements the very best of luck in their games.  

There was no winner of our club lotto draw for Thursday March 3rd numbers drawn out were 4-5-17 the Jackpot was valued at €1550. Reminder that lotto tickets for this coming week’s draw can be purchased each evening from 5pm from our club-house at the weekends from 12 noon. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our club lotto draw. 

Our Gaelic football academy for girls aged 7-10 years of age continues this Saturday at 11am in St Monica's Youth Centre hall finishing up at 12:00 noon. The girls will be taught the skills of Gaelic football in a fun and friendly environment. Children are welcome to try our sport of Gaelic football for an initial fee of just €2 a week. After 6 weeks the girls will be given the option of joining our club. So there is no pressure on parents to buy gear, football boots etc until they are assured their child wishes to continuing playing Gaelic football.
