St Monica’s GAA weekly notes:

There was no winner of our club lotto draw with the lotto jackpot of €450.00 rolling over to next Sunday’s draw. Numbers drawn out were 2-19-22 while our lucky dip winner of €25 cash was Michael Duffy c/o Tom Clancy. Tickets are on sale throughout the week from our club house €2 for one panel of three numbers of €5 for three panels.

Our U14 boys gave a great account of themselves on Saturday in their opening game of the season versus Clontarf losing out in the end to a late Clontarf goal. Well done to all the lads and a big thank you to everyone who defied the weather conditions to cheer the lads on.

Our club AGM took place on Tuesday night last with the following members elected to serve on the Executive Club Committee: (Chairperson) Paul Dillon, (Vice – chairperson) Anthony Kelly, (Secretary) Philip Kelly. St Monica’s GAA club are fielding juvenile teams this season at the following age groups Boys: U8, U10 and U14, Girls U12 and U14 new players are always welcome anyone interested in joining the club can contact Liam Kelly 086-8901211 (boys) Patricia Monahan 0876128368 (girls).

Well done to Jessie Lynch, Jemma Lynch, Britney Maher, Aislinn Somers and Robyn Whelan who all completed their LGFA Fundamentals coaching course last Saturday.
